Pharmacy Technician - Orange Park, FL

An urgent opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with strong experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings. This contract position in the Jacksonville area requires a dedicated professional capable of maintaining a fast-paced workflow while delivering exceptional patient care.

Location:

• Jacksonville, FL (Orange Park area)

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including high-volume data entry and medication dispensing.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactively identify pharmacy needs and step in to support pharmacy operations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and pharmacy team members.
• Support patient care with a strong focus on quality and service.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is essential.
• Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly noted on the resume; candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Proficiency with QS1 pharmacy software is mandatory.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and pharmacy intuition.
