This opportunity invites skilled Pharmacy Technicians to engage in a vital role supporting pharmacy operations within a Long-Term Care (LTC) Mail Order environment. The position emphasizes billing, patient service representative (PSR) responsibilities, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient coverage.

Location: Oregon, Illinois

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform PSR duties including billing and insurance verification
• Communicate effectively with nurses, pharmacists, and patients
• Utilize the QS1 computer system for accurate data entry and record management
• Assist patients in navigating insurance coverage to ensure they receive the best options available
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, specifically in billing and data entry
• Strong communication skills to coordinate among patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to effectively operate the QS1 computer system
