Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available to support pharmacy operations at a busy county hospital medical center in Ventura, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure proper storage and labeling
- Verify prescription information and respond to requests from healthcare staff
- Support compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy team and other medical departments
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician or equivalent training and experience
- Experience in hospital or institutional pharmacy settings preferred
- Knowledge of medication names, doses, and pharmacy workflows
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively under fast-paced conditions
