Pharmacy Technician in Oxnard, CA

Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available at a well-established medical center serving Ventura County. This contract opportunity offers an immediate start with a duration of 13 weeks or more. Candidates will support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate preparation and distribution of medications to patients.

Location:

• Ventura, CA

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under pharmacist supervision
• Verify prescription information and ensure accurate medication labeling
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician with current licensure or certification as required
• Previous experience in hospital or medical center pharmacy setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, day and evening shifts may be available
• Immediate availability required
