Pharmacy Technician in Oxnard, CA

Two Pharmacy Technician opportunities are available at a 250-bed inpatient medical center serving as the county hospital for Ventura County. These positions offer a contract assignment starting ASAP with an expected duration of 13 weeks or longer.

Location: Ventura, CA
Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy duties including sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis units)
• Manage incoming pharmacy calls and coordinate with clinical staff

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license is required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience or training in intravenous (IV) preparation is highly preferred
