A healthcare facility is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their operations in Charlottesville, VA. This per diem opportunity involves distributing prescribed medications and providing customers with accurate medication information while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Location:
- Charlottesville, VA
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Each shift is 9 hours
- Total commitment of 90 hours over two weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
- Provide customers with clear, helpful information about medication use
- Deliver superior customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Virginia Pharmacy Technician license
- Retail or long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
