An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings to support a leading children’s hospital in Palo Alto, CA. This 300-bed pediatric hospital is recognized as one of Northern California’s top health systems, offering an excellent environment to advance your pharmacy career.

Key responsibilities include assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and dispensing, managing inpatient medication orders using EPIC software, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and safety standards. You will work variable day and afternoon shifts, each 8 hours in length, providing critical support to the inpatient pharmacy team.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital inpatient pharmacy
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record software
  • Strong work ethic aligning with standards expected from PGY-1 pharmacy residents
