Join a specialized infusion center as an IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician supporting patient care in a clean room environment. Contract Type: 13-Week Contract to Hire
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring proper dosing, authorization, and insurance approval while maintaining compliance with OSHA and departmental protocols.
• Verify medication orders, patient details, and drug integrity; maintain essential documentation such as logs, temperature records, lot numbers, and controlled substance records.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance of the work environment including hood cleaning, proper disposal of materials, and upkeep of drug information and MSDS sheets.
• Manage inventory processes including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and precise data entry to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and medication availability.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated IV compounding skills.
• IV certification strongly preferred.
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
• National Pharmacy Technician License preferred.
