Pharmacy Technician - Panama City, FL

Join a dynamic infusion center as an IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician supporting critical patient treatments in a controlled, clean room environment. This 13-week contract to hire opportunity offers a chance to apply your specialized skills in chemotherapy compounding and IV preparation in a team-focused setting.

Location: Panama City, FL

Schedule:

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring accuracy in dosing, proper authorization, and insurance approval
• Verify orders, patient data, and drug integrity while meticulously maintaining logs, temperature controls, lot tracking, and controlled substances documentation
• Uphold clean room standards by performing hood cleaning, managing waste disposal, and maintaining drug information and MSDS sheets according to OSHA and departmental guidelines
• Oversee inventory management including receiving, labeling, shelving, billing, and accurate data entry to support seamless pharmacy operations and medication availability

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Three to five years of pharmacy experience with strong IV compounding skills; chemotherapy compounding preferred
• IV certification strongly preferred
• Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate mandatory
• National Pharmacy Technician license preferred
