Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Paterson, New Jersey

Step into the role of a Pharmacy Technician providing valuable support in a fast-paced retail environment. This per diem position offers the opportunity to contribute your skills to patient care and pharmacy operations during designated shifts in Newark, New Jersey.

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 1st Shift
  Term of Assignment: May 18, May 22, May 27-29, June 1-5

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications efficiently and safely.
• Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain optimal pharmacy stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs or concerns.
• Interact with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey (required).
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) for enhanced communication with diverse patient populations.
