Per Diem Pharmacy Tech | Paterson, New Jersey

A pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis in Paterson, NJ, supporting retail pharmacy operations. This role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription processing and delivering excellent customer service during first shift hours.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Selected dates: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27-29th, June 1-5

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient and prescription information accurately into the computer system
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Manage and restock over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate supply levels
• Greet customers, address their needs, and provide friendly, responsive service
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure smooth prescription processing

Qualifications:

• Must hold a clear and active pharmacy technician license in New Jersey
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred to support diverse patient communication
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is advantageous
