Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Paterson, NJ

A retail pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis in the Newark, New Jersey area. This role requires support in prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service within a pharmacy setting. The assignment involves specific dates in May and June, with a consistent first-shift schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Entering patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system
• Assisting pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications
• Managing and ordering over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain proper stock levels
• Greeting and assisting customers, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism
• Collaborating with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and ensure smooth prescription processing

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid and active pharmacy technician license in the state of New Jersey is required
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Specific assignment dates include May 18th, May 22nd, May 27th-29th, and June 1st-5th
