Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Paterson, NJ

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician for a per diem assignment on July 6th and 7th, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role requires a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and customer service while working under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities include accurately entering patient and prescription information into the computer system, assisting with the dispensing of prescriptions, and managing over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock. The technician will also greet and assist customers, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and excellent service. Additionally, the position involves resolving third-party prescription plan issues to facilitate smooth prescription adjudication and processing.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is required
• Experience with the Pioneer software system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
