Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Paterson, New Jersey

A Community Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating under the 340B Drug Pricing Program. This role supports the pharmacy team in delivering essential services to underserved populations and requires proficiency with MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems.

Location: Paterson, NJ

Schedule:

• Must be available to work one consistent weekday each week
• Every other Saturday shift required
• Pharmacy hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday

Type: Per Diem (PRN)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in compliance with established protocols and regulations
• Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and maintaining 340B program compliance
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing questions and facilitating medication access
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records within MicroMerchant and PrimeRx systems
• Support the pharmacy team in daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician certification/license as required by state regulations
• Experience in community pharmacy settings, preferably within FQHC or 340B programs
• Proficiency with MicroMerchant and PrimeRx software or similar pharmacy management systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work consistently on the assigned weekday and alternating Saturdays
