Pharmacy Technician in Peridot, AZ

Join a healthcare team providing essential pharmacy services at a tribal clinic and hospital located in a remote area of Arizona. Location:

• Peridot, Arizona
• Remote tribal clinic/hospital setting

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacy team in preparing and dispensing medications
• Manage medication inventory using the RPMS system, a proprietary IT platform commonly used in Indian Health Service (IHS) hospitals and clinics, similar to the VA’s Vista system
• Support hospital-based pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients to ensure optimal medication management

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred; retail-only backgrounds may not be ideal
• Willingness to work in a remote, tribal healthcare environment
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
