An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support retail and long-term care settings in Petersburg, VA, on a per diem basis. This role involves critical responsibilities in medication distribution and patient support, ensuring safe and efficient pharmaceutical services.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Provide clear and helpful information to customers regarding medication usage.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient and customer needs with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia.
- Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care environments is highly ideal.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to medication safety.
