An opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician specializing in IV/Inpatient pharmacy services is available for an overnight shift in Pflugerville, TX. This position supports pediatric care within a hospital setting, offering a rewarding experience working with patients and clinical staff overnight.

Schedule:

• Overnight shift, 7 days on / 7 days off
• Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract starting March 9

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound sterile IV medications following strict hospital and pharmacy protocols.
• Deliver pharmaceutical services to pediatric inpatients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate medication records and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPHT-TX) license required.
• IV certification mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Pediatric pharmacy experience preferred.
• CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is a plus.
• Completion of 40 hours of sterile compounding training accredited by ACPE or ASHP preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is required.
