Pharmacy Technician - Philadelphia, PA

A well-established pharmacy operation in the Philadelphia area is urgently seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Multiple positions are available to support various shifts, with roles focused on filling prescriptions, preparing kits (EKits), and prepackaging medications. This is an excellent chance for motivated technicians with at least six months of experience to join a busy team and grow into a permanent position.

Location:

• Philadelphia, PA (with the client facility north in Horsham, PA)
• Candidates must be local or able to commute without delay

Schedule:

• Immediate starts available, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts:
  • Morning 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (EKits and Prepack duties)
  • 10:00 AM–6:30 PM (Filling duties)
  • 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (Filling duties)
• New shifts starting on March 9 include:
  • Morning 10:00 AM–6:30 PM (Filling)
  • Afternoon 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (Filling)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and fill prescriptions according to pharmacy protocols
• Assemble medication kits (EKits) and perform prepackaging tasks as assigned
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
