Pharmacy Technician - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

An outpatient pharmacy technician position is available for local candidates in Philadelphia, PA. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a dynamic role supporting pharmacy operations in a reputable outpatient setting.

Shift hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with flexibility between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Weekend shifts may include Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The initial contract duration is approximately 13 weeks, starting in late March.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
• Support inventory management and supply replenishment
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines related to pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) or equivalent national certification is required
• Familiarity with outpatient pharmacy workflows is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
