Pharmacy Technician in Philadelphia, PA

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support an outpatient pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA. This 13-week contract to hire position offers a flexible schedule within specified hours to accommodate operational needs.

Location:
Philadelphia, PA – 800 Spruce Street

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekend shifts may include Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage outpatient prescriptions, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain patient records and support pharmacy operations to enhance patient care
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and patients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• PTCB or National Certification required (mandatory due to lack of state regulation in PA)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including potential weekend shifts
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
