A Philadelphia-based outpatient pharmacy seeks experienced Pharmacy Technicians for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for local candidates with strong retail pharmacy backgrounds and required national certification.
Location:
800 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM)
- Weekend hours may include Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Contract Duration:
Approximate 13-week contract starting March 23
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications for outpatient customers
- Managing inventory and maintaining accurate records
- Providing excellent customer service and support
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ retail pharmacy experience required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification mandatory
- Knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations preferred
Additional Information:
This position requires local candidates only due to onsite presence and scheduling needs. PA does not regulate pharmacy technicians, so certification and experience requirements are strictly enforced.
