Pharmacy Technician | Phoenix, Arizona

A Retail Pharmacy Technician role is available on a 13-week contract to hire basis in Phoenix, AZ. This position supports a busy pharmacy team that processes under 100 prescriptions daily. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on the first shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and medication filling using Pioneer Rx system
• Call patients and physicians’ offices to verify prescriptions and clarify any issues
• Verify patient allergies before dispensing medications as prescribed
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in dispensing medications
