This opportunity seeks two skilled pharmacy technicians experienced in fast-paced retail and mail order settings. The role involves supporting a busy mail order pharmacy operation with some retail walk-in dispensing.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for contract-to-hire based on fit and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume data entry and dispensing duties primarily for mail order medications with some retail walk-in service.
  • Maintain accuracy and speed while managing a steady workflow.
  • Practice proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying tasks and stepping in where needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to ensure excellent patient care and support.
  • Utilize QS1 pharmacy software (experience highly preferred).

Required Qualifications:

  • Recent (within the past year) experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment. Candidates without recent retail experience will not be considered.
  • Active AZ pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification.
  • Experience with dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is strongly preferred and must be highlighted on your resume, even if minimal.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a positive, dependable attitude.
  • Commitment to reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Software savvy, especially familiarity with QS1.
  • Ability to provide high-level patient care and maintain effective communication with healthcare providers.
