Two experienced Pharmacy Technicians are needed immediately to support a high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy operation. This 13-week contract position offers the potential to transition to permanent employment for the right candidates.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including dispensing and data entry.
- Manage high-volume dispensing primarily for mail order medications, as well as some walk-in retail customers.
- Maintain a fast-paced workflow with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate proactive pharmacy intuition by identifying workflow needs and stepping in to assist.
- Provide excellent patient care and effective communication with patients, providers, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in high-volume retail pharmacy; candidates without recent experience will not be considered.
- Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications strongly preferred and must be clearly noted on resume.
- AZ Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required.
- Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable with a positive and professional attitude.
- Commitment to regular attendance and punctuality throughout the contract.
