Pharmacy Technician | Phoenix, Arizona

An opportunity is available for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician experienced in high-volume retail and mail order pharmacy settings. This contract assignment based in Phoenix, AZ, offers a 13-week duration with potential for contract-to-hire conversion for the right candidate.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including dispensing and high-volume data entry
• Manage both walk-in retail and primarily mail order medication processing
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and assisting with pharmacy tasks
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum one year of recent experience working in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Experience with HIV/AIDS medication dispensing is highly valued; please ensure this is noted on your resume if applicable
• Ability to stand for entire shift in a high-demand environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• AZ Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification required
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred but not mandatory
