An opportunity is available for an experienced retail/mail order pharmacy technician to support a busy pharmacy team. This 13-week contract assignment offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance and fit. The position requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can maintain accuracy and efficiency throughout the shift.

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume data entry and dispensing activities, primarily focused on mail order medication delivery with some retail walk-in service
  • Maintain speed and accuracy while handling a large volume of prescriptions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment
  • Demonstrate pharmacy intuition by proactively identifying and addressing workflow needs
  • Uphold a positive attitude and strong communication with teammates

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of one year recent experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings (candidates without recent experience will not be considered)
  • HIV/AIDS medication dispensing experience is highly preferred and must be clearly noted on the resume—even minimal experience should be documented
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift in a high-volume environment
  • AZ Pharmacy Technician license or PTCB certification required
  • Familiarity with QS1 software is highly preferred but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and punctuality
