Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ

A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Phoenix, AZ, offering a 13-week contract to hire with a focus on retail pharmacy operations. This role supports a team consisting of one registered pharmacist and three technicians, handling a prescription volume of under 100 scripts per day.

Schedule and Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry related to prescriptions and patient information
• Communicate efficiently with patients and physician offices for prescription clarifications and follow-ups
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring verification of patient allergies prior to dispensing
• Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in adherence to established organizational policies
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout patient interactions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system or ability to quickly learn it
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail essential
