Pharmacy Technician | Phoenix, Arizona

A retail pharmacy technician role is available in Phoenix, AZ, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with a 13-week initial contract. This position operates on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The pharmacy uses the Pioneer Rx system and handles a daily script volume of under 100, supported by a team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
• Communicating with patients and physicians’ offices as necessary
• Filling and dispensing prescriptions as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring verification of patient allergies prior to dispensing
• Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational standards
• Delivering excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patients

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a retail pharmacy setting

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (1st Shift)
