This opportunity is designed for pharmacy technicians with non-sterile compounding responsibilities, available to work full time in Chandler, AZ. Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare high-quality medications tailored to individual patient needs
- Compound non-sterile medications such as capsules, oral liquids, topical medications, nasal preparations, tablets, and treats
- Label prescriptions accurately and prepackage bulk medications
- Monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and receive shipments
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniques
- Conduct environmental monitoring and validation testing per established policies
- Apply strong attention to detail, math skills, and maintain extreme focus to meet or exceed prescription creation metrics
- Ensure timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinarians
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License required
- Pharmacy experience required; training provided for compounding skills
- Strong attention to detail and math aptitude
- Ability to work full time, with 2nd shift hours from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm (pending confirmation of multiple shifts)
- Willingness to learn and grow within the compounding specialty
