This full-time contract role, based in Chandler, AZ, offers a pathway to advance your skills with training provided for compounding techniques. Schedule:
- Full Time
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (confirmation pending)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality, customized medications tailored to patient needs.
- Compound non-sterile medications including capsules, oral liquids, topical treatments, nasal preparations, tablets, and treats.
- Label prescriptions accurately and prepackage bulk medications.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, reordering supplies as necessary.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintain a sterile environment using proper disinfectants.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and validation testing in line with organizational policies.
- Maintain high attention to detail and apply strong math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Achieve or surpass production metrics for prescription fulfillment.
- Support timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinary professionals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Previous pharmacy experience essential; willingness to receive training in non-sterile compounding is a must.
- Strong focus, precision, and reliability are critical for success in this role.
