An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician interested in expanding into non-sterile compounding within a dynamic animal pharmacy and mail order setting. This full-time contract role, based in Chandler, AZ, offers a pathway to advance your skills with training provided for compounding techniques. Schedule:

• Full Time
• 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (confirmation pending)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality, customized medications tailored to patient needs.
• Compound non-sterile medications including capsules, oral liquids, topical treatments, nasal preparations, tablets, and treats.
• Label prescriptions accurately and prepackage bulk medications.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, reordering supplies as necessary.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintain a sterile environment using proper disinfectants.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and validation testing in line with organizational policies.
• Maintain high attention to detail and apply strong math skills to ensure accuracy.
• Achieve or surpass production metrics for prescription fulfillment.
• Support timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinary professionals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Previous pharmacy experience essential; willingness to receive training in non-sterile compounding is a must.
• Strong focus, precision, and reliability are critical for success in this role.

Contract Details:

• This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
