This full-time Pharmacy Technician opportunity in Chandler, AZ, focuses on non-sterile compounding within a veterinary and mail-order pharmacy environment. Candidates with pharmacy experience will receive training in non-sterile compounding techniques, offering a unique chance to expand skills and transition into animal pharmacy.

Schedule/Shift:

  • Full Time
  • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (subject to confirmation)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully prepare high-quality medications tailored to individual patient needs
  • Compound non-sterile medications including capsules, oral liquids, topical preparations, nasal formulations, tablets, and treats
  • Accurately label prescriptions and prepackage bulk medications
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and receive shipments to maintain adequate stock
  • Perform routine cleaning, environmental monitoring, and validation testing following established protocols
  • Apply strong attention to detail, precision in calculations, and sustained focus to meet or exceed prescription creation metrics
  • Ensure timely delivery of medications to pet owners and veterinary clients

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Arizona State Pharmacy Technician license is required
  • Previous pharmacy technician experience is essential
  • Willingness to learn non-sterile compounding skills; comprehensive training will be provided
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Location:

  • Chandler, AZ (1680 E Northrop Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85286)
  • All interviews are conducted onsite
