Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescription and patient data into systems.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, including making calls to verify prescriptions.
  • Fill and dispense medications in compliance with prescribed instructions, carefully checking for allergies or contraindications.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally, ensuring clarity and adherence to organizational procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to support patient health outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pharmacy, with a preference for retail settings.
  • Familiarity with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule:

  • 1st shift, Monday through Friday
  • 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

This engaging role offers collaboration in a small team—one pharmacist and three technicians—with a daily prescription volume under 100, providing a balanced work pace. The position begins as a 13-week contract with potential to transition to permanent employment based on performance.
