Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail experience looking to contribute in a dynamic pharmacy setting. Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule:

• 1st Shift
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  Contract: 13-week contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications as prescribed, verifying patient allergies prior to dispensing
• Perform data entry duties related to prescriptions and pharmacy operations
• Contact patients and physicians’ offices to clarify prescriptions and follow up as needed
• Manage patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in line with organizational policies
• Deliver excellent customer service emphasizing care and professionalism

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail environment
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy system is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
