Pharmacy Technician – Retail Setting | Phoenix, AZ | Contract to Hire

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves working alongside one pharmacist and three technicians to deliver quality pharmaceutical services in a patient-focused environment. The position is a 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire.

Schedule:

• 1st shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry related to prescriptions and patient information using Pioneer Rx system.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescription orders and address inquiries.
• Fill and dispense medications following prescribed orders, ensuring patient allergy verification.
• Respond to patient concerns and complaints in accordance with established policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy experience, with preference for retail pharmacy background.
• Familiarity with medication dispensing protocols and patient safety measures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a pharmacy team.
