Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ

A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract to hire in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports daily pharmacy operations in a setting staffed by one pharmacist and three technicians, with a prescription volume of under 100 scripts per day.

Schedule & Hours:

• 1st Shift
• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription and patient data into the Pioneer Rx system
• Communicate with patients and physicians’ offices regarding prescription information and clarifications
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, verifying patient allergies before dispensing
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational guidelines
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably retail
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Effective communication skills when interacting with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to work well in a team environment alongside pharmacists and other technicians
