Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ

A Retail Pharmacy Technician position is available for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in retail pharmacy settings, ready to contribute to an efficient and patient-focused pharmacy team.

Location:

• Phoenix, Arizona

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st shift, Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input prescription data using Pioneer Rx system
• Contact patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details
• Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety by verifying allergies and other important factors
• Manage patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and in line with organizational policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all pharmacy patrons
• Collaborate with one pharmacist and three technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Handle a daily script volume of under 100 prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Current and active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years recent pharmacy experience, with a preference for retail settings
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy
