A leading 300-bed children’s hospital is seeking three experienced pharmacists for a contract assignment in Pittsburgh, PA. Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug therapy
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide clinical consultations
• Utilize EPIC IT system for documentation and order processing
• Uphold hospital policies and safety standards to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience or completion of a pharmacy residency preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
