Pharmacy Technician in Plainfield, IN

A pharmacy technician role is open in a fast-paced mail order and specialty pharmacy environment in Plainfield, IN. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with an intent for direct hire after 26 weeks. The role requires a reliable, experienced technician to support pharmacy operations primarily on the second shift.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Initial training/onboarding on day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Transition to second shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM, with possible weekend hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently in a high-volume setting
• Manage medication inventory and assist with specialty pharmacy services
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare providers to ensure patient safety
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician
• Proven ability to work in high-volume retail or mail order pharmacy environments
• Current, active Indiana pharmacy technician license
• Strong reliability and commitment to shift schedules
