Join a specialized pharmacy team supporting behavioral health in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work in a closed-door pharmacy embedded within a behavioral hospital, dispensing exclusively behavioral health medications. The pharmacy operates with streamlined workflows and automation, handling approximately 350-400 scripts daily, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions within the closed-door pharmacy setting.
  • Support pharmacy operations efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure timely medication distribution.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Utilize Enterprise RX software (training provided).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (required).
  • Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy technician experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Retail pharmacy experience highly valued.
  • Reliability and professionalism are critical due to prior behavioral challenges on the team.
  • Ability to thrive in a specialized behavioral health pharmacy setting.

  • Plano, TX (Local candidates only)

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
