Pharmacy Technicians with a minimum of two years of experience are invited to apply for an opportunity to advance their careers by gaining specialized skills in sterile IV compounding. This role is based in Pomeroy, OH, and involves working with a mail-order compounding pharmacy that provides comprehensive training for candidates interested in expanding their expertise in both non-sterile and sterile compounding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in processing prescriptions, data entry, and order fulfillment.
  • Participate in hands-on training to learn sterile and non-sterile compounding, including intravenous (IV) preparations.
  • Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution.
  • Maintain strict compliance with USP standards and all applicable pharmacy regulations.
  • Support inventory management and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
  • Help coordinate shipping processes and overall workflow efficiency.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (open and close shifts available)
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician license as required by the state.
  • No prior compounding experience needed; thorough training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.
