Pharmacy Technician | Pomeroy, Ohio

This full-time Pharmacy Technician position offers an exciting chance to develop specialized skills in sterile IV compounding within a mail-order compounding pharmacy environment located in Athens, Ohio. With 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, you will be supported through comprehensive hands-on training even if you have no prior compounding background. This contract to hire opportunity is designed for detail-oriented candidates eager to expand their expertise and contribute to an efficient pharmacy operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, order entry, and fulfillment
• Learn and perform non-sterile and sterile compounding including IV preparation under supervision
• Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution
• Ensure strict adherence to USP standards and pharmacy regulatory compliance
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Support shipping coordination and workflow optimization

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations
• No prior compounding experience needed; training provided
• Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn new processes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
