An opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support data entry functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Job Type: Contract (with possible 6-8 week extension)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 3-4 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and efficient data entry for pharmacy-related information
- Support pharmacy technicians by processing prescriptions and verifying patient data
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain inventory and record keeping
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed to improve workflow and patient service
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
