Pharmacy Technician | Pompano Beach, Florida

An established pharmacy specializing in AIDS/HIV care is seeking two experienced pharmacy technicians to join their team in the Ft. Lauderdale area. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract to hire arrangement with an immediate start. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays as part of the pharmacy’s hours of operation.

Responsibilities include typical retail pharmacy duties such as data entry and precise dispensing of medications. Working within a sensitive patient population requires professionalism, empathy, and respect at all times. Familiarity and experience with HIV/AIDS drugs is essential and must be clearly indicated on your resume.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Florida Pharmacy Technician license required; PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency or willingness to learn QS1 pharmacy software
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care with sensitivity and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills with colleagues and healthcare providers
• Dependable and punctual with a proactive, team-oriented work style
• Positive attitude with pharmacy intuition to anticipate and address workflow needs

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
