An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution and customer service in a healthcare setting. This per diem position offers an engaging role in ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of prescribed medications, providing essential information to patients, and maintaining high standards of service.
Location:
- Port Arthur, TX area
Schedule:
- Tuesday through Friday, September 8-11, 2026
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners
- Provide patients and customers with clear information regarding medication use and safety
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns promptly
- Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare team members to ensure compliance with protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician License required
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
