This opportunity is for a skilled Pharmacy Technician with retail experience, available for a temp-to-hire role in Portage, MI. Location: Portage, MI
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
• Closed Fridays at 6 PM
• No weekends initially (subject to change in the future)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions
• Assist pharmacists with daily tasks and customer service duties
• Manage inventory and maintain records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Utilize Pioneer RX pharmacy software to support workflow efficiency
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment adhering to all pharmacy laws and policies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift start times and evolving schedule needs
