Pharmacy Technician | Portage, Michigan

Location: Portage, MI
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30am, 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:30am
• Pharmacy closes at 6pm on Fridays
• No weekend shifts initially; schedule may evolve over time

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
• Utilize Pioneer RX to enter prescription data and maintain patient records
• Assist with inventory management and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy technician license
• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail
• Familiarity with the Pioneer RX system is highly desirable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
