Support pharmaceutical operations as a Pharmacy Technician in a fulfilling contract role based in Portland, ME. This 13-week assignment offers an opportunity to work closely under the supervision of Registered Pharmacists in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities include accurately filling prescriptions and preparing medications for dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards. You will assist pharmacists in the final verification of prescriptions, including medication presentation for review and packaging after approval. Inventory management is a key part of the role, involving receipt, rotation, and documentation of medication stock to maintain proper inventory control. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-calibrated work environment will also be part of your duties, working in coordination with the Technician Supervisor.

This role focuses on fulfillment tasks and does not involve IV preparation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Maine
  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting with a sound understanding of prescription filling processes
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and comply with pharmaceutical regulations
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory management and documentation
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Availability for Monday-Friday 10 AM to 7 PM shifts with rotating weekends

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Rotating weekends
