An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Portland, OR on a per diem basis. This role involves assisting in the distribution and management of prescribed medications while ensuring excellent customer service.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours daily)
- Total of 42.5 hours for the workweek
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately distribute medications prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners.
- Provide clear, helpful information to customers regarding medication usage.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service to enhance patient experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
