A Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in Portland, OR, offering per diem work within a retail and long-term care setting. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing medication, advising customers on proper use, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours each day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications in accordance with physician and healthcare provider orders
- Educate and assist customers regarding medication usage and safety
- Maintain focus on delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
- Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
