A healthcare facility in Quincy, MA seeks three motivated pharmacy technicians to support the evening shift, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday with rotating weekends. This direct hire opportunity welcomes candidates at various experience levels, including trainees, state-licensed, and certified pharmacy technicians.

This role operates in a high-volume setting, processing roughly 600 prescriptions daily using the Frameworks software system, with training provided for those unfamiliar with it. Key responsibilities include preparing medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose for timely delivery to residents, assisting with medication inventory management including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates, and maintaining accurate patient and medication records.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (clear and active) required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred
  • Prior pharmacy experience highly valued
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Open to candidates holding a trainee license

Shift Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Rotating weekends required

Compensation is structured to recognize skill levels:

  • Trainee license: $19/hour
  • State licensed: $22/hour
  • Certified: $25/hour Bonus incentives are available based on performance, rewarding dedication and efficiency.
