Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Reading, PA

This opportunity is looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to work per diem from September 8-10 in the Pottstown, Pennsylvania area. This role involves assisting pharmacists with prescription dispensing and supporting exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Location: Pottstown, Pennsylvania
Schedule/Hours:

• September 8-10 (Tuesday to Thursday)
• 1st shift: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system.
• Assist in dispensing prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage and order OTC inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Greet and assist customers, addressing any needs or concerns professionally.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
