Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Reading, Pennsylvania

A pharmacy technician position is available for a short-term assignment from September 8 to September 10 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This per diem role offers the opportunity to support pharmacy operations during first shift hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications.
• Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Experience with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
