Pharmacy Technician - Rensselaer, IN

Join a community-focused retail pharmacy serving approximately 30 prescriptions daily in Francesville, IN. We are seeking two licensed Pharmacy Technicians (Indiana licensed and PTCB certified) with retail pharmacy experience to support daily operations on a contract basis. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend shifts, making it ideal for local candidates seeking part-time hours.

Location:
Francesville, Indiana

Schedule:

• 24-30 hours per week
• Preferably Wednesday through Friday
• Pharmacy hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Entering prescription orders accurately using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred)
• Filling prescriptions efficiently and accurately
• Ringing up customers and providing excellent customer service
• May cover shifts at the sister Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy in Winamac, IN after training and as needed
• Participate in a 3-day training and orientation program prior to starting

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system and Eyecon Medication Counting Device is preferred
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment (currently two technicians on-site)
• Local candidates preferred to ensure availability and minimize commute time

Additional Information:
This position is contract-based starting June 29th with ongoing coverage until the permanent hire is found. Our pharmacists verify prescriptions remotely, so technicians play a critical role in daily operations.
