Pharmacy Technician | Rensselaer, Indiana

Join a growing pharmacy team as an Indiana Licensed and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting focused on personalized patient care. This contract position offers a flexible schedule primarily Wednesday through Friday, totaling 24-30 hours per week, with no weekend shifts required.

Location

• Francesville, IN (Local candidates only)
• Potential cross-coverage at a nearby facility following training

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter medication orders using PioneerRx software
• Fill prescriptions efficiently and verify accuracy
• Assist customers at the counter with professionalism and care
• Collaborate remotely with pharmacists for order verification
• Participate in a 3-day orientation and training before starting

Desired Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification
• Retail pharmacy experience required, familiarity with PioneerRx preferred
• Experience with automated medication counting devices such as Eyecon is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a small team environment

Facility and Work Environment

• Average workload of approximately 30 prescriptions per day
• Supportive team of 2 pharmacy technicians and remote pharmacist verification
• Monday to Friday pharmacy hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Flexible opportunity to work across two community-focused pharmacies
