Pharmacy Technician in Rensselaer, IN

An opportunity is available for two experienced, licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy retail pharmacy servicing approximately 30 scripts daily. This contract role starts on June 29th and will continue until permanent hires are made. Candidates must hold an Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification.

Location: Francesville, IN
Schedule:

• 24-30 hours per week, ideally Wednesday through Friday
• Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm
• No weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescription orders using the PioneerRx system
• Fill prescriptions following pharmacy protocols
• Assist customers with transactions at the register
• Undergo three days of training and orientation before starting
• Potentially provide coverage at a sister facility, Pulaski Memorial Hospital Community Pharmacy, after training

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technician with PTCB certification
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and Eyecon Medication Counting Device is a plus
• Ability to work independently as part of a small technician team (2 technicians on site)
• Comfortable with remote pharmacist verification process
