Pharmacy Tech - Richland Center, Wisconsin

A retail distribution site is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 6-week contract opportunity in Richland Center, WI. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, from 9am to 5pm, perfect for professionals looking for daytime hours in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage prescription volumes averaging around 100 scripts per day
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system to process and verify prescriptions
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment adhering to safety and regulatory standards
• Support daily pharmacy operations within a retail distribution context
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate customer service

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license
• Proven pharmacy technician experience, ideally in a retail or distribution setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX or similar pharmacy computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume environment

• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
