Pharmacy Technician - Richland Center, WI

A hospital inpatient pharmacy technician position is available in Richland Center, WI, for a 13-week contract assignment. This role supports critical pharmacy operations within an inpatient hospital setting and requires hands-on involvement in multiple technical and clerical tasks to ensure smooth medication management and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock Pyxis machines and manage medication inventory
• Perform outdate checking and restocking of medications, IVs, and supplies
• Prepare sterile products and chemotherapy under cleanroom conditions
• Enter charges accurately and handle ordering and receiving of drug shipments
• Monitor storage temperatures and maintain compliance with safety standards
• Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance in the cleanroom environment
• Perform additional pharmacy technician duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, with shifts of either 8 or 10 hours
• Weekend coverage is 7 AM to 3 PM on a rotation every 4th weekend
• Hours of operation extend from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays

Qualifications:

• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain quickly
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and familiarity with sterile product prep
