Pharmacy Technician | Richland Center, Wisconsin

This position is for a Pharmacy Technician specialized in hospital inpatient care, located in Richland Center, WI. The role focuses on supporting inpatient pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, ensuring medications and supplies are efficiently managed and prepared.

Responsibilities include:

• Restocking Pyxis machines and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Checking for outdated medications and removing them accordingly
• Restocking medications, IVs, and supplies on the unit
• Entering charges and managing medication orders
• Ordering and receiving drug shipments
• Monitoring storage temperatures for compliance
• Preparing sterile products in a cleanroom environment, including chemotherapy medications
• Performing daily cleaning duties in the cleanroom
• Carrying out other pharmacy-related duties as assigned

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, with shifts of either 8 or 10 hours
• Weekend schedule includes 7 AM to 3 PM shifts on every 4th weekend rotation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Approximately 2 years of recent experience in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting

This is a contract assignment lasting approximately 13 weeks, with an immediate start. Candidates must be prepared to work within the specified schedule and perform duties critical to inpatient pharmacy operations.
