Pharmacy Tech - Richland Center, Wisconsin

Support patient care in a dynamic hospital inpatient pharmacy setting located in Richland Center, WI. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to expand your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment supporting critical medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock Pyxis automated dispensing systems efficiently to ensure timely medication availability
• Conduct outdate checks and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Restock medication, IV solutions, and medical supplies essential for inpatient care
• Enter charges accurately and promptly for billing and inventory tracking
• Order, receive, and manage incoming drug shipments to maintain stock integrity
• Monitor refrigerator and storage temperatures to comply with safety standards
• Prepare sterile products and chemotherapy solutions following aseptic technique
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of cleanroom and sterile compounding areas
• Other duties assigned to support pharmacy operations and patient safety

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (8 or 10-hour shifts available)
• Weekends: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM on every 4th weekend rotation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license, or ability to obtain promptly
• Approximately 2 years of current inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding, chemotherapy prep, and hospital pharmacy workflow
• Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards and protocols
