Pharmacy Technician in Richmond, IN

This position offers two shift options to suit your availability: a night shift with a 7-on/7-off schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, or a standard day/afternoon shift consisting of 8-hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding to prepare medications accurately and safely.
• Restocking automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) to ensure continuous medication availability.
• Fielding calls into the pharmacy, providing timely information and support.
• Delivering medications to patient floors efficiently.
• Pulling and disposing of expired medications following safety protocols.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid pharmacy technician license in Indiana, or the ability to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital pharmacy experience demonstrating competence in compounding and medication handling within a clinical setting.
